Daniel Marcous, Co-Founder & CTO at April, uses tech & data science to solve tax and save people time & money.
Prior to April Daniel had spent 7 years at Google as a Data Wizard where he held different positions, most recently data science and engineering lead & CTO at Waze, and AI strategist for Google Cloud.
Earlier in his career Daniel founded the first big data & AI teams (now an entire division) in the Israeli Defense Forces, doing cyber intelligence using ML and founding a center of excellence for tech innovation.
In his free time, Daniel is highly committed to advancing the Israeli data science and big data communities with non-profit work via managing DataHack, founding & leading the Kaggle IL community and giving talks / courses about data science.
