Team8’s Fintech Advisory Board now boasts current and former executives from KPMG, PayPal, Visa, Marqeta and Harvard Business School
Team8, a unique global venture group that builds and invests in early-stage companies with deep expertise in cyber, data, fintech, and digital health, is proud to announce that Judd Caplain, the former Global Head of Financial Services at KPMG has joined Team8’s Fintech Advisory Board.
Judd brings with him a wealth of experience and expertise in the field of financial technology, with more than 30 years of financial services experience. Judd was most recently KPMG’s Global Head of Financial Services, where he managed its largest global line of business, which included Banking & Capital Markets, Private Equity, Asset Management, and Insurance. In this capacity, he led a team of 50,000 employees in 150 countries across the firm’s three business lines – Advisory, Tax, and Audit. Judd also led KPMG’s relationships with top global banks for several years as well as a network of governments, regulators, media, and fintech service providers in more than 40 countries.
Judd will be joining other Team8 Fintech Advisory Board Members including Rupert Keeley, former PayPal Europe CEO, and Former Visa Group President APAC and CEMEA, Linda Hill, Professor at Harvard Business School and Leadership Initiative Faculty Chair, and Omri Dahan, former CRO at Marqeta, who are already working with Team8 Fintech Foundry and portfolio companies 40Seas and april. Tapping into their combined years of experience, they provide a specialized toolkit for Team8’s portfolio companies and foundry leadership. In addition, the Members work closely and mentor Team8’s early-stage founders, providing them guidance and a competitive advantage as they build and scale their companies.
