George brings with him a wealth of experience and expertise in the field of information technology and cybersecurity. As the Group CIO for Petrofac, he is responsible for driving the company’s IT strategy and ensuring that it remains ahead of the curve in terms of cybersecurity. George possesses 17 years of experience in IT and cybersecurity leadership roles in companies operating in diverse domains such as healthcare, oil & gas, and digital and has been recognized as a global leader in this field and won multiple CIO and CISO awards for his contributions.
In addition to his work at Petrofac, George is also a Global Board Advisor for IBM Security, a non-Executive Board member, and Advisor for many Cyber Organizations, Cyber Committees, and Technology Companies. He has presented at over 30 conferences globally, including IBM Think, Microsoft Ignite, RSA Conference, Gartner, and GISEC.
As a Cyber Advisory Board Member, George will provide a specialized toolkit for Team8’s CISO village and portfolio companies and share his best practices and research with the information security industry.
