Why we’re looking for you:
As our company continues to expand we are looking for the first in-house legal.
You have to be a superhero commercial legal and the go-to person for any other legal matters in the company.
As Legal Counsel you will:
- Lead and oversee all commercial legal matters at Port Worldwide
- Manage and monitor the entire lifecycle of our contracts, from creation through signing to archiving.
- Draft and maintain the company’s commercial legal templates, including MSAs, EULAs, and other essential documents.
- Develop strategies for commercial negotiations to minimize risk, reduce friction with customers, and shorten the time to finalize agreements.
- Structure, draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial and corporate agreements across various legal fields, including procurement, HR and consulting.
- Collaborate with different departments across the company on diverse legal issues.
- Handle ongoing legal matters globally.
- Provide general corporate legal advice as needed.
You skillset:
- 6+ years of experience as a commercial lawyer, particularly in the B2B tech product space.
- Strong corporate legal background.
- Experience working within or with the high-tech industry.
- Proven track record of working with multinational, global companies.
- Ability to thrive under pressure and work effectively, also within U.S. time zones.
- Fluent in English at a native or near-native level.
