Why we’re looking for you: 

As our company continues to grow, we’re in search of our first in-house IT expert. You will be the cornerstone of our IT operations, managing both hands-on tasks and strategic initiatives. You’ll be the go-to person for all IT-related matters, ensuring that our technology infrastructure supports our expanding business.

As IT Specialist you will: 

  • Develop and execute the company’s IT strategy, aligning it with business goals, security needs, compliance requirements, and budgetary constraints..
  • Oversee multi-P&L IT operations and budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficient resource allocation.
  • Manage and maintain the company’s IT infrastructure, systems, and networks.
  • Establish and lead a responsive and effective help desk operation.
  • Lead and oversee multiple IT projects, ensuring timely and successful execution.
  • Establish, implement, and enforce IT policies, regulations, and compliance standards.
  • Collaborate with third-party vendors, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor relationships to ensure cost-effective and high-quality services.
  • Implement and maintain robust cybersecurity measures to protect the company’s data and systems from potential threats.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to support their IT needs.
  • Assist with compliance and certification processes, including SOC2, ISO, and other relevant standards.

You skillset:

  • 6+ years of experience in information systems management.
  • Experience in or working with the high-tech industry.
  • Strong knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, DevOps, on-premises data centers, cloud services, IT regulations, compliance, and budget management.
  • Experience with SOC2, ISO, and similar compliance frameworks.
  • Ability to perform effectively under pressure and manage operations across global time zones.
  • Proficient in a wide range of technical areas, including Windows, Mac environments, networking, security, monitoring systems, Active Directory, Office 365, scripting, and more.
