Ori Barzilay is a Partner at Team8, where he invests in Cyber and Software Infrastructure companies.

Before joining Team8, Ori worked as a Senior Associate on Pitango’s investment team leading early-stage investments. As Principal Product Manager at PDP-Tech, he specialized in energy tech, IoT, and Industry 4.0. He led the company through its product-market-fit stage, finding productive opportunities for a unique patented technology while forming the GTM strategy and acquiring global customers. Prior to this, he was a Product Manager at Adaptive Shield, a market-leading company in the SSPM cybersecurity space, where he led both inbound product development and outbound activities such as managing strategic partnerships, market positioning, and sales engineering.

Ori served as a team leader in the Israeli Intelligence Service and its Special Forces Elite Unit before leading classified product developments as a Product Manager. He received the IDF’s Intelligence Directorate Award.
