Israel Grimberg is a Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Team8 Group. Since the inception of Team8, Israel has spearheaded Team8’s hallmark company-building process. Israel leads Team8’s innovation strategy, driving new growth opportunities, working closely with founders to build category-leading companies.
Today, Israel is leading the formation of Team8 Health, the Team8 group’s fourth fund, ideating and building groundbreaking Digital Health companies, as well as contributing to the processes and needs of Team8 enterprise still.
Prior to founding Team8, Israel was the head of the IDF’s Technology & Intelligence Unit 8200’s Cyber Division. He held a variety of responsibilities during his 23 years of service, ranging from engineering to leading thousands of cyber R&D professionals.
Israel earned B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in engineering from Tel Aviv University. Today, in addition to his business operations, Israel studies philosophy at Tel Aviv University and formed a charity organization in the field of children’s education.
