Israel Grimberg is a Co-founder and Managing Partner at Team8, where he spearheaded the fund’s unique company-building process.

He leads Team8’s innovation strategy, driving new growth opportunities and working closely with founders to build category-leading companies. As well as contributing to Team8’s overall processes and needs, Israel has a particular interest in ideating and building groundbreaking companies in the Digital Health space.

Before founding Team8, Israel was the head of the IDF’s Unit 8200 cyber division. In his 23 years of service, his varied responsibilities ranged from engineering to leading thousands of cyber R&D professionals.

Israel is involved in charity work and formed a charitable organization in the field of children’s education.

Israel has BSc and MSc degrees in Engineering from Tel Aviv University.
