Nitay Joffe is an Operating Partner at Team8, focused on building and investing in SW & AI Infrastructure.

As a post-exit founder and technical leader, he brings over two decades of experience building and scaling enterprise software companies.

Nitay co-founded ActionIQ, the enterprise Customer Data Platform (CDP) that pioneered a new category in marketing technology. As CTO, he architected the platform end-to-end, scaled the company from inception to hundreds of employees, and helped grow it into a category leader serving Fortune 500 clients. ActionIQ raised $145M from Sequoia Capital and Andreessen Horowitz (a16z) and was acquired in 2025.
Nitay was a pioneer during the formative Big Data wave, where he was an early engineer on Facebook’s data infrastructure team. He also held engineering roles at Google and Microsoft, joining Microsoft via the acquisition of the groundbreaking NLP search engine startup, Powerset, which was a groundbreaking NLP search company that created an early version of conversational AI like ChatGPT.

Nitay holds a degree in Computer Engineering from UC San Diego.
