Matthew is a seasoned GTM executive, having held senior leadership roles at VMware and FireEye, as well as multiple VC-backed companies that achieved successful exits.
Matthew’s last operational role was as President of FORTA, a $1 billion cybersecurity platform backed by private equity. Prior roles include leading the ~$500M Americas business at FireEye/Mandiant and serving as CRO of Absolute Software, a publicly traded Canadian software company.
He was also an Executive in Residence at Greylock Partners, where he focused on assessing and improving key go-to-market functions across a diverse portfolio of companies, including several in the cybersecurity space.
Matthew brings a broad range of expertise in cybersecurity and excels at driving organizations to build high-performing sales teams, instilling sales process discipline, and developing differentiated, prescriptive, and cohesive selling models,regardless of company stage.
Matthew has already started working with Team8 portfolio companies including Monogoto and Clover.
He lives in Montclair, New Jersey, with his wife Lindsay and their two sons, Hudson (5) and Jacob (3). He is an avid runner, boxer, and enjoys all things outdoors.
