Matthew Schoenfeld is an Operating Partner at Team8.

A seasoned GTM executive, he has held senior roles at VMware and FireEye, as well as multiple VC-backed companies that achieved successful exits. With broad expertise in cybersecurity, he excels at driving organizations to build high-performing sales teams, instilling sales process discipline, and developing differentiated, prescriptive, and cohesive selling models, regardless of company stage.

Before joining Team8, Matthew served as President of Fortra, a $1B cybersecurity platform backed by private equity. His prior roles include serving as CRO of Absolute Software, a publicly traded Canadian firm, and leading the ~$500M Americas business at FireEye/Mandiant. He also served as Executive in Residence at Greylock Partners, where he focused on assessing and improving key go-to-market functions across a diverse portfolio of companies, including several in the cybersecurity space.

He lives in New Jersey, with his wife Lindsay and their two sons. He is an avid runner and boxer, and enjoys all things outdoors.
