Before joining Team8, Dekel worked for five years as a Controller at Zerto. Prior to that, she completed her internship at Ernst & Young in the High-Tech department.

She holds a B.A. in Accounting and Economics from Tel Aviv University and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Israel.
