This web page will enable you to make an electronic application to Team8 Labs Ltd. to the CISO Village Awards (“Awards”).
You may submit your own nomination or a nomination on behalf of a third party for the awards, which could include ideas, suggestions, or proposals related to professional and personal accomplishments and the role of the CISO.
Your nomination should outline the required qualifications and experience in this area, as mentioned specifically for each of the award categories. Please ensure that your application complies with the guidelines outlined at: https://www.cisovillageawards.com/ (“Guidelines”) and these terms (together with any other communication you send us, “Submission”).
Please note that all information provided by the person submitting the nomination, including the Submission, are on a non-confidential basis, and may be sent by Team8 Labs Ltd. (“Team8” “we” or “us”) to third parties, including without limitation Team8’s consultants and employees and the Award’s judging committee which will consists of external and independent experts.
Nomination: The person submitting the nomination will remain the exclusive owner of all right, title, and interest (including without limitation all intellectual property rights) in and to the Submission. No ownership right is conveyed to us. Similarly, if we provide any information to you, we will remain the sole owners or licensors of that information. You represent to us that you are the sole owner of the Submission, and that you have the full right to represent all the members of your group (“Group Members”) who contributed to the Submission. You further represent that the Submission contains no confidential information or material owned by any third party, and that you do not need to obtain the consent of any other person or entity in order to send us the Submission.
Nomination of Others: You may submit a third party to the Awards. By submitting such third party to the Awards, you represent that you have the authority to submit the individual’s personal and professional information as part of the submission process. Please ensure that all information provided is accurate, complete, and up-to-date, and that you have the necessary permissions to share any sensitive or confidential information, including but not limited to personal identifiable information, related to the individual. You hereby acknowledge that any information provided by you with respect to such individual will need to be validated by us and the consent of such individual will be required by us. If the information and the consent will not be provided, all the information submitted will be deleted and the Submission and the individual will not be used and considered as part of the Awards. You further acknowledge that we may, at our sole discretion, provide the third party you submitted to the Awards, with information about who submitted him/her to the Awards.
You hereby grant to us a non-exclusive, perpetual, worldwide, unrestricted, irrevocable, royalty-free, transferable, sub-licensable right and license to use, reproduce, make available, display, perform and modify the Submission. You understand that we may use the Submission whether or not you, or such third party, are a winner of the Awards.
You waive and agree never to assert any moral rights that you may have in the Submission, including without limitation any rights to attribution or limitation on subsequent modification. You agree that we will not be bound by any restrictive legends on the Submission.
You agree that if you are a nominee to the Awards, given you provided your consent to these terms, Team8 and its affiliates may use your photograph and biographical information, as well as those of other Group Members, for publicity and promotional purposes.
Evaluation: The judging committee for the Awards consists of external and independent experts who are recognized leaders in the field of information security. They will evaluate each Submission based on the relevance and clarity of the information provided, as well as the overall strength of the nominee’s qualifications and experience in the field. The selection process will be audited by a third-party auditor to ensure fairness and transparency. In terms of the award, the amount and nature of the award will be as described in the Guidelines. The award will be donated to a technology or cyber-related non-profit organization on behalf of the winner, as a way of supporting the ongoing development and advancement of the field.
You represent that you are of legal age and competent to enter these terms, or that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed these terms and clicked on the “I accept” button. These terms, the Guidelines and any other published rules constitute our entire understanding with respect to the Submission, and may be changed by us from time to time with notice on our website: https://www.cisovillageawards.com/. If you continue with the Awards after any changes in these terms, you will be bound by those changes.
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold us, our employees and agents harmless from any claims that the Submission infringes the intellectual property or other rights of any third party.
These terms are governed by the laws of Israel. Any dispute or controversy in connection with these terms or the Awards shall be subject to the exclusive venue and jurisdiction of the courts of Tel Aviv, Israel.
By clicking the “I accept” button, you confirm that you have read these terms and agree that you, the third party you submitted to the Awards and all Group Members are bound by its terms, and that such acceptance will be the equivalent of a signature on these terms. You also represent that you are authorized to execute these terms for the legal entity and the third party you submitted to the Awards on whose behalf you are accepting these terms, and on behalf of all other Group Members. You also agree that we can email you information relating to the Awards.
