Ronen Assia is a Managing Partner at Team8 where he builds and invests in Fintech companies, and an entrepreneur.

He has 20 years of experience merging technology and design into useful and accessible products, and defining user experience across various devices and platforms.

Before joining Team8, Ronen co-founded eToro, a financial unicorn that serves 31M users in more than 100 countries and has pioneered a social investing model. He served as the company’s Chief Product Officer and managed product and engineering, and since January 2020, has been a board member and non-executive director. Prior to this, Ronen designed products ranging from medical devices and household appliances to numerous desktop and web applications.

Ronen holds a BA in Industrial Design from Bezalel Academy of Art and Design and an MA in Product Design from the Royal College of Art.
