Rick Scanlon

Venture Capitalist and Investor

Rick is New York City-based venture capitalist and data scientist focused on enterprise software and analytics and data driven investment theses.  He was a founding partner at Innovation Endeavors and currently advises the firm and its portfolio companies on growth and special opportunities. He joined Innovation Endeavors in 2017 when the firm merged with Marker LLC, a New York and Israel-based venture capital firm Rick co-founded in 2011.  Prior to Marker, Rick was a managing partner at Crescent Point, a Singapore-based venture and private equity firm he co-founded in 2003. After sixteen years of living in Asia, Rick moved back to the US and launched Marker. Rick has invested in a number of industry leading high-growth technology companies including Team8, Yext, Datorama, Taboola, Yotpo, AlphaSense, Claroty, and Overwolf.  He is currently the Executive Chairperson of TuneIn.

Earlier in his career, Rick was an investment banker at Morgan Stanley and Credit Suisse. He earned a BA from Middlebury College, where he earned a degree in art and physics. He is currently a member of the of Middlebury College Board of Trustees.
