Dr. Kinneret Livnat Savitzky, PhD is a Managing Partner in Team8 Health.
Kinneret has more than 25 years of experience in senior positions in the Bio-Pharma industry, New Jersey and Tel Aviv, helping build companies and advancing them to IPOs and global collaborations and partnerships with “big pharma” companies. She participated in the venture formation of multiple companies, such as ImmPact Bio.
In addition, Kinneret has held numerous leadership roles. She served as CEO, General manager, VP R&D, Chairperson, and active board member at category-leading companies, moving them from seed to IPO and post-IPO.
Before co-founding Team8 Health, Kinneret was the CEO and a Board member of FutuRx, an Israeli biotechnology accelerator established by OrbiMed Israel Partners, Johnson & Johnson Innovation, Takeda Ventures Inc., and Leaps by Bayer. As part of her role at FutuRx, Kinneret also served as a chairperson or board member in most FutuRx’s portfolio companies. She currently serves on the boards of the following biotechnology and healthcare companies: Compugen (Nasdaq: CGEN), Nutritional Growth Solutions (ASX: NGS), Ramot – Tel-Aviv University TTO, DreaMed Diabetes, and Biomedical.
Kinneret received her Ph.D. with distinction in Human Genetics from Tel Aviv University, an M.Sc. in human genetics from Tel Aviv University, and a B.Sc. in Biology from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
