Sivan Tehila founded Onyxia Cyber to create the management platform she wished existed during her tenure as CISO in the Israel Defense Forces. Now in only its second year of operation, Onyxia’s clients include CISOs of Fortune 500 companies and leading enterprise organizations across a variety of industries – all of whom recognize and appreciate the value of her vision. A multi-faceted thought leader, Tehila manages her platform’s growth while serving as director of Yeshiva University’s Cybersecurity Master’s program. Under her leadership, the program has not just exponentially grown in size, but also in student body diversity.
Tehila’s educational credentials include a decade of IDF experience – as Intelligence Officer and CISO of the Research and Analysis Division – alongside subsequent roles establishing the Cyber Security Operation Center for Israel Railways and directing solution architecture at Perimeter 81. Tehila actively addresses the industry’s gender gap as founder of Cyber Ladies NYC and developer of specialized cybersecurity curriculum for Manhattan High School for Girls. Her entrepreneurial vision has earned her Cyber Security Excellence’s “CEO of the Year” award alongside recognition in Cyber Express’ 40 Under 40 Women Cyber Leaders and SC Media’s 25 Influential Women in IT Security.
