Meredith Harper directs global security operations for America’s largest private-label credit card provider – and Fortune 200 behemoth – Synchrony Financial. In this role, she is responsible for everything from enterprise security, risk management, and compliance, to developing and implementing strategies to protect sensitive financial data and mitigate cyber threats. With over 30 years of cybersecurity experience in critical industries such as healthcare and finance, Harper has helmed the development of world-leading cybersecurity programs many times over, setting new industry benchmarks at giants like Eli Lily and Henry Ford Health.
Her influence extends beyond these roles through board positions with Berry Global and as a trustee for the University of Detroit Mercy. Named among Health Data Management’s “Most Powerful Women in Healthcare IT” and appearing on CISO Connect’s “CISOs Top 100”, Harper is equally committed to industry advancement and diversity.
