Lynn Dohm sounds a clarion call for industry-wide gender equality as Executive Director of Women in CyberSecurity (WiCyS) – the premier organization supporting women’s recruitment, retention, and advancement in the field. Recently honored with a Doctor of Science & Technology from Champlain College and named among CS Hub’s Top 25 Cybersecurity Leaders for 2024, Dohm brings 20+ years of strategic leadership to her organization’s advocacy goals. Under her guidance since 2019, WiCyS has expanded its reach through innovative programs connecting talented professionals with opportunity pathways.
These efforts have earned her dual SANS Difference Maker Awards as People’s Champion and Diversity Champion of the Year, alongside recognition in Cyber Defense Magazine’s Top 100 Women in Cybersecurity. Outside of WiCyS, Dohm strengthens the ecosystem through service on the University of Maryland Global Campus advisory board and Cloud Security Alliance’s AI Safety Initiative Council – all while furthering her thought leadership through influential publications and speaking engagements.
