About The Position

VisibleRisk is a Series-A stage startup aiming to build a global Cyber Rating platform. Backed by Moody’s and Team8, this venture focuses on developing an innovative methodology for measuring cyber risk through the collection and analysis of cyber telemetry. VisibleRisk equips business leaders to manage cyber risk as clearly as they manage financial risk.

We are looking for a Security Data Analyst for our Outside-In team! If you’re passionate about research and cybersecurity, a team player with a creative mindset, and with a Can-do-approach – – we have a fit.


Our Outside-In team is responsible for one of the company’s core components. We research new and challenging cybersecurity challenges with a unique cybersecurity approach. On a day-to-day basis, we work with a variety of vendors in the industry, unusual and massive datasets related to various security fields.

We are looking for a responsible, innovative, thorough, and initiative security data analyst who wants to overcome any obstacle. We need someone who can professionalize any new, unfamiliar subject.

Your role will include:

  • Manage new data-driven security research projects from the initial idea to the ultimate results and next steps
  • Understand gaps between the goals and our product’s current state and invent creative technological solutions to fill them.
  • Analyze different, unique, and massive datasets to define cybersecurity aspects.
  • Define the requirements for our data collection methods and support their development process.
  • Implement and use the best solutions for our use cases by working and collaborating with important companies all over the world.

  • At least 3 years experience with offensive cyber, networks, security research, and different protocols.
  • Practical experience with the cyber security field, incidents, and attack methods.
  • Understanding of network and security systems to assess risks and threats.
  • Experience with Big Data tools and research (Sql, reddash, splunk)
  • B.Sc./M.Sc. in Computer Science or related technical/quantitative field or relevant experience – advantage
  • Good scripting skills (python – advantage)
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal) is a must.
