Team8 has partnered with Moody’s Corporation, the global Credit Rating leader to create VisibleRisk and set a global standard for measuring cyber risk.

VisibleRisk is improving how boards and executives discuss and manage cyber risk.

By employing a custom assessment methodology that is holistic, objective, standardized, and quantified, we empower Chief Risk Officers, CISOs, executives, and board members to understand their cyber risk exposure so they can manage it effectively.

We are looking for a Security Researcher to join our research team.

Responsibilities include

• Conduct deep research of large amounts of data from big enterprise networks
• Identify research opportunities for new features and innovative methods for measuring cybersecurity fortitude from within the network
• Extract features to assess the organization’s cyber strength, and turn them into meaningful insights
• Develop internal tools for automating and scaling the research process
• Define the requirements for our different data collection mechanisms, and support the R&D teams involved in the development process  
• Work closely with the research, delivery, and development teams

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience as a security researcher
• Thorough knowledge of network technologies and security best practices
• Good scripting skills (Python is preferred)
• Advanced analytical skills, capable of researching and analyzing complex technical data
• Excellent communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or equivalent – a big advantage
