Akeyless is looking for a self-starting Technical Account Manager to join our growing team of TAMs supporting North American customers. This is a hands-on technical role that also requires excellent customer facing skills. You will be developing and leading the ongoing relationship with the customer including strategic guidance, understanding the customer business and challenges, providing solutions, processes and best practices for a successful implementation and use of the Akeyless platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a smooth and successful onboarding process of new customers
  • Provide thought leadership and support for the best customer experience
  • Drive adoption and expansion of the Akeyless platform
  • Provide first level support 
  • Learn the customer business and challenges and develop the best solutions to address them
  • Create value for the customer as a trusted advisor
Requirements:
  • 3 years of experience as a customer facing technical support role such as Technical Presale / Sales Engineer / Solution Architect / Customer Success Engineer / customer-facing Solution Architect
  • Experience in selling software to enterprise customers
  • Familiar with the cloud space
  • Past experience that combines sales orientation and technical skillset 
  • Experience working in Security or DevOps positions as vendor or user
  • DevOps knowledge domains: Kubernetes, Docker, Linux, CI/CD
  • Security knowledge domains: Identity Management (IDM), Identity Providers (i.e Okta, Ping), Certificate Management (CMS), Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), Encryption Key Management System (KMS)
  • Exceptional communication skills, as well as ability to present product pitches & perform demos

Advantages

  • Security knowledge domains: Privileged Access Management (PAM), Hardware Security Modules (HSM) and Zero-Trust Access (ZTA)
  • DevOps knowledge domains: micro service architectures, infrastructure as code, scripting/programming

Base salary: $140-160K

In addition: Bonus + Company Stock Options + Benefits

The compensation package depends on experience
