We are hiring an exceptional Business Development and Strategic Alliances Director to join our Fintech Go-To-Market team. As part of the team, the individual will be responsible for growing and maintaining our Fintech ecosystem of customers, advisors, prospects, and founders as well as creating and managing strategic alliances.

The Business Development and Strategic Alliances Director has a central role in the planning and execution of Team8’s Fintech domain and supporting the portfolio companies’ throughout their growth. The right candidate will create new business opportunities and leverage Team8’s robust network to advance sales, business development, marketing initiatives. Furthermore, this individual will cultivate and grow Team8’s community of c-level enterprise executives, key industry players, and thought leaders from the financial service, technology, and academia industries worldwide.

The right candidate should possess the ability to execute multiple complex projects simultaneously, with a proven track record in ROI-driven business development and strategic partnerships development and maintenance.

Key responsibilities:

  • Work closely with our portfolio of companies to provide advice and guidance on their go-to-market strategies as well as support their partnership and sales efforts – be an enabler and multiplier. 
  • Source, form, and foster strategic alliances to help build Team8 Fintech’s position and access to key industry players and talent. 
  • Segment, target, and develop a network of deep corporate relationships with C-level executives to support our portfolio companies and Team8 Fintech domain. 
  • Organize discovery sessions and thought leadership workshops and events with top industry players.
  • Capture, track and analyze all business development activities within the CRM system and turn the engagements into insights and measurable actions.
  • Collect business and market intelligence.
  • Collaborate with other functional groups within Team8, including Managing Partners, Research, Marketing, and Business Development colleagues.

  • 8+ years of experience in the fintech startup, financial services, and/or venture capital ecosystem.
  • Deep knowledge, understanding, and passion for fintech innovation.
  • Experience forming and leading alliances and engaging deeply with global enterprises.
  • Relationship-building expertise with C global level executives, globally.
  • Appetite to perform extensive outbound activities to deliver the right leads to our portfolio companies. 
  • Analytical and tech-savvy ( social media, spreadsheets, reports, CRM systems).
  • Ability to digest large volumes of information and synthesize key takeaways.
  • Superior critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and understanding strategic frameworks and concepts.
  • Team player and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative, but also process and detail-oriented.
  • Native English Speaker.

Advantages: Enterprise sales background; IL/US startup ecosystem familiarity; community building background; work experience in the international market (primarily the U.S.) and for international companies; past experience working with Israeli technology organizations.
