We are hiring an exceptional Business Development and Strategic Alliances Manager to join our Fintech and Go-To-Market teams, to form and manage strategic alliances with partners, the ecosystem, and with customers of our portfolio companies. 

The Business Development and Strategic Alliances Manager has a central role in the planning and execution of Team8 Fintech and its portfolio companies’ BD roadmap. The right candidate will create new business opportunities and leverage Team8’s robust network to advance sales, business development, marketing initiatives, and will help in extending Team8’s community of c-level enterprise executives and key industry players and thought leaders in Financial services, technology, and academia from around the world.

The right candidate should possess the ability to execute multiple complex projects simultaneously, with a proven track record in ROI-driven business development and strategic partnerships development and maintenance.

Key responsibilities:

  • Create and define an ever-growing ecosystem of advisors, design partners, and potential customers for our portfolio companies to ensure their ongoing success. 
  • Segment, target, and develop a network of deep corporate relationships with C-level executives to support our portfolio companies and Team8 Fintech. 
  • Work closely with our portfolio of companies to support their partners and sales efforts- be an enabler and multiplier. 
  • Source, form, and foster strategic alliances to help build Team8 Fintech’s position and access to key industry players and talent. 
  • Organize discovery sessions and thought leadership workshops and events with top industry players.
  • Capture, track and analyze all business development activities within the CRM system and turn the engagements into insights and measurable actions.
  • Collect business and market intelligence.
  • Collaborate with other functional groups within Team8, including Managing Partners, Research, Marketing, and additional business development activities.

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in the fintech startup, financial services, and/or venture capital ecosystem.
  • Deep knowledge, understanding, and passion for fintech innovation.
  • Experience forming and leading alliances and engaging deeply with global enterprises.
  • Relationship-building expertise with C global level executives, globally.
  • Analytical and tech-savvy ( social media, spreadsheets, and reports, CRM systems).
  • Ability to digest large volumes of information and synthesize key takeaways.
  • Superior critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and understanding strategic frameworks and concepts.
  • Team player and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative, but also process and detail-oriented.
  • Native English.

Advantages: Enterprise sales background; IL/US startup ecosystem familiarity; community building background; work experience in the international market (primarily the U.S.) and for international companies; past experience working with Israeli fast-paced technology organizations.
