About The Position

Team8 is hiring an exceptional Marketing Director in Tel Aviv to help build the Team8 brand through marketing collateral, events, thought leadership, digital platforms, and PR.

Furthermore, the Marketing Director will provide strategic, go-to-market support to startups in our foundry.

Team8’s Director of Marketing will report to the VP of Marketing located in Israel and will work closely with the group’s leadership on strategic marketing initiatives, and assist portfolio company founders across funds to develop and execute a marketing plan. She/he will also work closely with Team8’s ideators and research group, the engine behind our thought leadership program, and our business development team to strengthen the Team8 “Village,” a global community of enterprise c-level executives and thought leaders in technology and academia.

The target audience for Team8’s marketing activities includes (1) entrepreneurs and the startup’s ecosystem, contributing to investment deal flow and positioning Team8 as the ultimate partner for the best entrepreneurs; (2) c-level executives (CIOs, CTOs, CDOs, CISOs, and even CEO and Board Members) in Global 2000 enterprises in the US and Europe, prospect customers of our portfolio companies and design partners to newly built Team8 companies; and (3) Israeli R&D talent, potential employees of Team8 companies, attracting them to join our family and highlighting our advantages to them.    

Team8’s focus areas include, but are not limited to, enterprise technology, data, machine learning, AI, cybersecurity, Fintech, and privacy.

We are looking for a talented individual who thrives in a fast-paced, multitasking environment and can learn new topics quickly.

This individual should have a successful track record of driving marketing in startups or VC organizations. They should possess significant expertise in brand building, and in establishing a thought leadership program that drives impactful results. Content creation is critical, and the ideal candidate should be able to leverage and manage freelancers in their network to achieve KPIs as well as work with PR agencies in Israel and abroad.

This role requires a mother-tongue level of English.


  • Define the marketing strategy for the Enterprise Foundry and ensure its successful execution.
  • Support both Team8 and our foundry’s marketing goals. Building a brand. Driving thought leadership and content creation. Contribute original thinking to content by researching trends, insights, and developments in cyber, data and AI, and the impact of new technology on the enterprise. Participate in the development, creation, and delivery of all marketing materials including Team8 presentations and blog content, inspired by conversations and brainstorming with the smartest people across Team8 and our companies. All content will align with Team8’s global vision and expertise but tailored to different audiences (Corporate Executives, Investors, Entrepreneurs, Talent). You will also drive thought leadership partnerships. Team8 works with various content and thought leadership partners with whom we co-author content. These span from organizations such as McKinsey and the World Economic Forum to former government officials and more. Assist portfolio companies in building and growing their first marketing footprint – including messaging and positioning.
  • Develop and edit various content assets, including customer decks, case studies, blog posts, ebooks, infographics, white papers, one-pagers, presentations, brochures, sales decks, landing pages, press releases, social media commentary, event invitations, email campaigns, and webinars.
  • Contribute creative ideas to support key content goals, such as increasing conversion rates in the sales funnel, growing blog subscribers and LinkedIn followers, developing inbound organic traffic, and more.
  • Design Team8’s Rethink event series around the world (NYC, SF, TLV, UK, …). Participating in our events production and program development, ranging from intimate to 1,000+ attendees and gathering C-level executives from the world’s leading companies. Working with partners and sponsors. 
  • Collaborate with our Business Development team in marketing initiatives with the goal of market development (creating access to new enterprises or strengthening relationships with existing enterprises). Making sure the relevant initiatives (events, speaking engagements, etc.) are aligned with business development goals and tracking them. 
  • Managing PR. Drive PR strategy and plan, working closely with PR firms in the US and Israel. Engage in announcements and press releases as well as initiate interviews and prepare Team8 partners and employees for them. Initiate contributed articles for top tier media in collaboration with Team8 partners, our research group, portfolio companies, and villagers in our network. 
  • Use various analytics tools to monitor content performance and optimize its impact.
  • 4+ years of marketing experience and previous working experience as a Marketing Director or VP, for 5 years in a global High-Tech, a start-up company, or a VC firm.
  • Experience working in an entrepreneurial fast-paced work environment.
  • Exceptionally strong writing and passion for copy-editing. 
  • Proven familiarity with content management tools and producing content for the web with channel-specific knowledge (blog, website, social media, content sharing communities)
  • Comfortable in using data analytics to measure and continually improve the impact of content.
  • Proven success building thought leadership programs
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.
  • Team player; quick learner; detail-oriented; used to working in fast-paced environments.
  • Native English Speaker/ Mother-tongue Level, both verbal and written – mandatory; 
  • Online marketing skills: Google, FB, Twitter, etc
  • Managing budgets 


  • Domain expertise in data or cybersecurity
  • High level of Hebrew, spoken and written – an advantage.
