Sygnia is looking for an Experienced Financial Controller for a temporary position (6-9 months to replace a controller in maternity leave) to join its Finance team, reporting to the CFO.

The plan is to recruit ahead of time in order to allow sufficient time for transition.

Work environment is premium but so is the role dynamics. This is a significant role and therefore, best fit will be for an experienced controller with first-hand experience and familiarity with a rapidly growing startup environment, working close together with the delivery team, in order to achieve revenue recognition and collection targets.

Main responsibilities

  • On going revenue generation cycle process operations, working together with the client leadership and delivery team
  • Understanding the impact of SOWs and projects sold on revenue recognition and collection objectives
  • Familiarity with reporting compliance related to US GAAP and IFRS accounting (monthly actual vs budget)
  • Monitoring budgets and financial statements
  • Implementing revenue generation process
  • Managing cash flow and burn rate procedure
  • Overseeing the delivery of: Financial forecasting, P&L planning, Regulatory monthly reporting for Israel, US and SGP and Company’s fiscal and legal compliance
Requirements:
  • A good fit would be a Big 4 graduate who has at least 4-5 years of experience in the HQ of a high growth company (global start-up company would be ideally), closely working with the product implementation or delivery team, working to excel in the implementation of the company’s revenue recognition policy
  • Demonstrated experience with the following: Internal reporting, Consolidating international subsidiaries , Delivery project in a tight deadline
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment
  • Excellent Excel skills – Mandatory! NetSuite ERP experience is an advantage.
  • Proficient in English (speaking and writing) – Mandatory!
  • Eager to contribute and collaborate as part of a professional team
