Sygnia is looking for Director, Cyber Security Services APAC, to be a key contributor in and to have a leading role in its growth in Asia Pacific. Reporting to VP APAC, you will be responsible to be the trusted advisor to leaderships of organizations and to develop Sygnia’s professional present across the region. This is an opportunity to leverage the compelling success of Sygnia in support of its clients in the region and in Singapore, to preserve Sygnia as a leader in the security space of APAC.

The successful candidate will be a passionate and result oriented leader, with outstanding client relationship and communication skills, excellent consultive approach, strategic mindset and analytical skills. The candidate should have a solid cyber security background, and a demonstrated success in client relation and business development in APAC.


Main Responsibilities

  • Lead sales opportunities and business development, both by working with existing clients, and new clients, including creating opportunities, leading business development discussions, scoping engagements and developing proposals
  • Manage clients, develop long-term professional relationships and serve as the trusted advisor of leading organizations in APAC
  • Maintain relationships with client security, business teams and leadership to anticipate client requirements, and manage expectations of service, including timings and services to be delivered
  • Work closely with Sygnia’s global team to provide oversight for any project in the territory. This will include leading and presenting status updates to a variety of audiences, including technical teams, CISOs, CIOs/CTOs and Executives
  • Collaborate with Sygnia’s partners in APAC and be part of the development of new strategic partners
  • Play a leading role in Sygnia’s APAC team, participate in capability building efforts, methodologies development and strategic discussions
  • Proven experience in business development and leading growth in Singapore and APAC
  • At least eight years as a strategic consultant, and/or cyber professional services and IT
  • Excellent client services orientation, with exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills and a demonstrated ability to Build and maintain trusted relations with clients
  • Highly passionate, proactive, resourceful and creative, with a robust ability to deliver under dynamic and complex circumstances
  • Highly proficient in English- a must
  • Collaborate effectively with any level, teams and culture
  • A positive, pragmatic, can-do attitude, and an ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing environments
  • Academic degree in a relevant discipline – an advantage
  • Information security certificate from industry leading organizations (e.g., CISSP, CISM, C-CISO, GSTRT), a background as a CIO or CISO, or experience in cyber technology units – an advantage
  • The position is relevant for candidates in Singapore. It may require considerable travel when Covid restrictions allows (~15-20%).
