Sygnia is looking for a top-notch Senior Frontend Engineer who is enthusiastic about combining the disciplines of design and programming., You will be part of the R&D team, and directly responsible for the products and features used by our clients. You will be expected to have strong analytical skills, an unwavering commitment to quality, a collaborative work ethic, and cutting-edge coding skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement key software components in Sygnia’s flagship product
• Lead the engineering efforts surrounding the UI capabilities of our core product
• Design and build a fully-featured web application, while maintaining a great user experience
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices and coding standards
• Build and maintain infrastructure to support frontend testing and continuous integration
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions
• Mentor other engineers and assist in the development of frontend best practices
• Stay up-to-date with the latest frontend technologies and advancements

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in frontend development with React and TypeScript
• Deep understanding of modern testing systems such as Jest, Enzyme or Cypress
• Expertise in webpack configurations and optimization
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to details
• Team player who enjoys working in a dynamic business-oriented environment
• Excellent communication skills, including strong ability to elaborate on a technical idea
• Fluent English (written and spoken)

Advantages: 

• Experience in building infrastructure for frontend testing
• Experience participating in a large frontend refactoring project
• Familiarity with modern frontend paradigms such as headless UI and CSS-in-JS
• Knowledge of AWS
• Full stack experience with Python (Flask and SQLAlchemy)
