Full Stack Tech Lead (Platform)

About The Position

We’re seeking a skilled developer with a strong architectural point of view and expert knowledge of large complex systems to join our FE Infra R&D team in Tel Aviv.

To be successful in this role, you must enjoy a challenge and be driven to make a significant impact through the design and development of robust, scalable web applications – all while rapidly delivering top-tier code using cutting-edge frameworks and technologies.

What will you do? 

You will have a crucial role in shaping FundGuard’s web application architecture using modern technologies such as GraphQL, Typescript, NodeJS, and ReactJS. You will creatively solve complex problems and engage in all aspects of the front-end software development lifecycle, including architecture, design, implementation, test design, optimization and delivery. Moreover, you will guide engineers throughout the software development lifecycle, providing mentorship through coaching, pair programming, and code review feedback.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of proven experience as a backend-oriented full-stack developer with in-depth knowledge of Node.js (3+ years) and TypeScript
• A strong understanding of RESTful APIs and experience with GraphQL is a plus
• Proficiency in building scalable and robust applications, ensuring optimal performance
• Solid understanding of software design principles and design patterns
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

Nice to have skills:

• Good knowledge of Typescript
• Understanding of Functional Programming paradigm and other programming concepts like immutability, pure functions, and function compositions
• Experience building in-house design systems
• Knowledge and interest in financial markets
