Financial Data Specialist

About The Position

FundGuard is the new generation investment accounting utility for asset managers and their service providers. FundGuard existentially changes asset servicing to enable reduced fees and the ability to offer new and innovative products, including crypto-asset services, at scale, today and tomorrow.

We are looking for a talented financial data specialist with a “can-do” approach and eagerness to deliver significant and action-oriented analyses for our product and customers. 

Responsibilities :

• Integrate customer data to Fundguard’s Financial Data model 
• Develop real-life financial use cases to enhance the product capabilities and robustness 
• Collaborate with the Business product team as well as with Fundguard’s customers
• Take part in the new customer Proof of concept and onboarding process
• Data integrity validation

Requirements:

• B.A. in Economics/Accounting or B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering/Information Systems from leading universities
• 2+ years of working experience in capital markets-A MUST
• In-depth familiarity with various financial instruments
• Experience with Python and/or other scripting languages
• Proficiency with Excel
• Fluent in English – both spoken and written
• Excellent communication skills: confidence communicating with people of differing levels of seniority, analytical understanding and from a wide variety of backgrounds
• Must be curious, proactive, practical and solution-oriented with a “Get it done!” attitude
• Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment
• Solid problem-solving skills including the ability to tackle complex problems
