Sygnia is searching for an experienced Business Analyst to manage all the relevant data, ensure that data-driven decisions are being taken, and that all required information is considered in the process of executing the company’s M&A strategy. The analyst role is a pivotal role in one of the most strategic processes of the company, and therefore a rare opportunity to have an impact on the company’s global growth.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage all M&A-relevant data, including reviewing and analyzing data and reports, creating and maintaining accurate dashboards and presentations.
  • Identify potential acquisition targets based on criteria set in the company strategy, and perform research on potential companies.
  • Research the market to gain relevant information and learn the M&A ecosystem in order to support and develop effective strategies.
  • Analyze and interpret financial data of the potential company’s financial statements, identify themes and patterns, and make predictions relating to the success of the M&A.
  • Collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders to promote corporate development initiatives, including the performance of financial analysis, estimation of potential impact on company strategic goals, and planning the business model for the post-integration phase.
  • Participate in cross-company M&A taskforces, preparing the required data and analysis for periodically communicating the deliverables and project plans to key stakeholders.
Requirements:

  • At least 5 years experience as a corporate development/business analyst in global companies.
  • B.A in Industrial Engineering, Economics, Law, Accounting, or other relevant degree. MBA would be an advantage.
  • Proven experience in M&A analysis, due diligence, financial valuation and modeling. Experience in industries such as investment banking, consulting, venture capital, and business development would be relevant as well.
  • Familiar with M&A deal structuring, negotiation methods and stages, and legal contracts.
  • Demonstrated understanding of technology markets and trends. Familiarity with the cyber domain, including cyber consulting – an advantage.
  • Great team member, ability to work effectively with a wide range of seniorities, cultures, and different domain expertise.
  • Excellent communication skills, including fluent English, presentation skills, and the ability to elaborate and simplify the ‘big picture’ and complex data.
