Field Marketing Manager
Location: San Francisco, USA, West
Description
We’re Clover Security.
We’re building the future of product security. Our mission is to enable both humans and AI to build secure-by-design software, at scale, without slowing innovation.
We’re backed by $36M from Team8, Notable Capital, and SVCI, and trusted by multiple Fortune 500 companies.
But funding and logos don’t define us. People do.
Our About Us page offers a real look at our culture, our values, and the people behind the product.
This is where you come in.
We’re looking for a Field Marketing Manager to shape how Clover shows up in the real world. This role is focused on execution: running events, activations, and field programs end to end, with a high bar for quality, coordination, and follow-through.
Requirements:
What you’ll do
As our Field Marketing Manager, you’ll own the execution of Clover’s Bay Area field strategy as a core part of our go-to-market motion. You’ll translate our product philosophy and point of view into brand-forward, intentional field programs that build trust with a sophisticated technical audience.
- You’ll partner closely with sales and GTM leadership to decide where we show up, how we show up, and where we deliberately don’t.
- You’ll design experiences, from intimate executive dinners to community-led moments, that strengthen relationships, support account progression, and reinforce Clover’s long-term narrative.
- You’ll manage field execution end to end, including strategy, budgets, vendors, logistics, and onsite presence, while maintaining a high bar for taste, pacing, and experience quality.
- You’ll help define how field marketing operates at Clover as we scale, including how we evaluate impact and evolve what works.
What we’re looking for
- You have 3+ years of experience in field marketing, events, or experiential roles at a B2B company.
- You’re based in the San Francisco Bay Area or Silicon Valley, with the ability to be on-site regularly and travel frequently across the U.S. for events, activations, and partner moments.
- You have hands-on experience running events and field programs from planning through on-site execution, including audience coordination, invites, RSVPs, and attendee logistics.
- You’re familiar with guerrilla or brand marketing tactics such as pop-ups, installations, or geo-targeted campaigns.
- You have high attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership over execution quality.
- You have strong operational instincts and comfort managing timelines, vendors, logistics, and moving parts in parallel.
- You’re comfortable managing budgets, tracking spend, and keeping programs on time and within scope.
- You have clear communication skills and the ability to coordinate across marketing, sales, vendors, and partners.
If this role excites you – even if you don’t check every box – we’d love to hear from you.
