What You’ll Do

You’ll join our growing AI/ML domain as a technical leader and hands-on contributor, working alongside experienced engineers and product stakeholders.

Your focus will be to drive forward our LLM-powered systems enhancing retrieval, building intelligent agents, and delivering high-trust clinical capabilities.

This role blends strategic technical leadership with hands-on development, making it ideal for someone excited to both deliver features today and shape where we go tomorrow.

Key responsibilities:

● Lead the vision and direction of our AI related domains

● Help lead the evolution of our retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) architecture, improving accuracy and recall

● Design and implement agentic AI systems using frameworks like LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar, for document understanding and multi-step reasoning

● Optimize embedding, vector search, reranking, and hybrid retrieval pipelines

● Lead development of LLM prompt strategies, chaining logic, and tool-using agents for dynamic workflows

● Design, test, and monitor our system performance and accuracy metrics

● Be a source of knowledge for the latest GenAI research and apply cutting-edge techniques to production use cases

● Partner with product and domain experts to ensure accurate and trustworthy AI outputs that can be used by clinicians at the point of care

Requirements:

What You Bring

Required Qualifications:

● 7+ years of hands-on experience with AI/ML frameworks and deploying ML systems inproduction

● 5+ years experience with modern backend programming (Python/Javascript is preferred)

● Demonstrated success in scaling AI/ML systems from initial launch to high useradoption and traffic

● Proven track record designing and operating production-grade AI/ML systems at scale

● Hands-on experience with GenAI tools including LLM orchestration frameworks, RAG pipelines, and agent-based architectures

● Strong understanding of embedding strategies, vector search, retrieval optimization, and prompt engineering

Advantages:

● Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field with an AI/ML focus

● Prior experience in healthcare, biomedical NLP, or regulated, trust-sensitive domains

● Experience building document-intelligence systems for knowledge extraction, synthesis, or question answering

● Experience in a startup environment

● Experience with GCP and MongoDB
